DIS, Uttara always respects our dear students' choice and autonomy.
Our students picked their own ECA clubs to join through a colorful ECA club selection fair
Daffodil International School, Uttara
Recently undertook a Green Campus initiative 🌿, harnessing microgreens🌱.
We are really excited to present our most recent initiative, in which children were given microgreen trays to grow in their classrooms!
Through this project, we hope to raise awareness of the remarkable nutritional advantages that these little plants provide while also teaching our students the art and science of microgreen cultivation. Microgreens are a great complement to any diet because they are a great source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants alongside providing a touch of greenery around our campus.
Through a student-led community outreach program, our students shared their knowledge about sustainable practices and healthy eating habits with families and communities around our school.
A positive mental attitude is the foundation on which we can grow as humans. At DIS, Uttara we are introducing a habit of self love with our affirmations station.
We believe in the saying : the happiness of our lives depends on the quality of our thoughts.
City life becomes so mechanical, young generations love to spend time with gadgets! Whereas, we inspire our students to portray who we are and our culture through different activities. Ice breaking of kite festival of 2nd graders conducted by Ms. Kamrunnahar. Students loved the activity a lot, learning is effective when it is experiential.
LCNC (low cost no cost) resources are around us. We just need to utilize these to make it appropriate and contextual. That helps our students to learn recycling and help them to make the magical transformation!
We are so proud of our students as they created such an amazing respiratory system as their project! They used their creativity and critical thinking to make this project fun and experiential! What a great way to learn about how our bodies work!
Credit goes to Ms. Ayesha for planning the task for her students.
