Notice: Exams, Holiday and Accounts

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Greetings!
1. It is informed to all concerned people that DIS Midterm Assessment, Examination and Mock Routine and
Syllabuses 2023 are published today for grades PG to A Level.
2. Examination duration will be as follows:
a) Summative Assessment from grade PG to grade 2 will be conducted along with the regular classes.
None of the assessments will be retaken.
b) All subjects from Grades 3 to 7: 9.00am to 11.00am (2 hours)
c) Only for Islamiat/Moral Science: 9.00am to 10.00am (1 hour)
d) Grade 8 and 9 Chapter-wise Mock: 9.00am to 11.00am (only English Language B & Bangla will be
Considered as Full Mock)
e) IGCSE and A Level Mock: As per the Edexcel curriculum.
3. Syllabuses are provided with notice and it will be completed by 31 October 2023.
4. Revision classes will start from 1 November 2023.
5. Study Leave for the students of grades 3 to A Level will be on 14 November 2023. Grade PG to grade 2
students will do their regular classes on this day.
6. Any of the assessments, exams and mocks will not be retaken.
7. Extra time won’t be allowed for delayed entrance in the exam hall.
8. Parents are requested to collect the “Admit Card” from the account section clearing the tuition fees up to
December 2023 by/on 5 November 2023.
9. School will remain closed from 20 October 2023 to 24 October 2023 on the festive occasion of Durga Puja.
Regular classes will be resumed from 25 October 2023.
10. Holiday Homework: Midterm Syllabuses are given and students will take
Preparation for the exam during the holidays following the book activity, CW and
HW copies. Worksheet or Information sheet are provided for the students of the senior
Section.
11. Students will come to school up to 6 December 2023 for the practice and preparation of Technopreneur
Olympiad, MUN and cultural events.
12. Midterm Report Card Day will be held on 7 December 2023.
13. Students will enjoy Winter vacation from 8 December 2023 to 3 January 2024.
14. The classes of Final Term of Session 2023-24 will start from 4 January 2023.
